Oh Tibet my lost kingdom in the sky
Your valleys weep your people cry
But here within my heart I know
You are beside me where I go
They cannot have my spirit life
For it lives on amid the strife
And what is land just lying bare
Its people missing I know you care
For where I am I feel your pain
I need to share your love again
To hear the monks as they pray
Receive their blessing for my day
But Tibet your more than just land
Mountain passes to desert sand
So distant oh so far yet so near
Your life lives within my spirit here
And I will never ever let you go
These are my words so you know
Your spirit Tibet lives on in me
They cannot take it I am free

TIBETAN CHILDRENS NEEDS YOU
How to Help Tibetan Children
Step1 Sponsor a child in exile. There are many organizations set up to sponsor Tibetan children living in exile. This sponsorship usually focuses on the education of the children and the preservation of the Tibetan culture in their education.
Step2 Make a monetary donation. You can make a general donation or earmark it for a certain cause, such as school improvement, specific projects, medical needs, scholarships, clothing or food.
Step3 Host a presentation from the Tibetan Children's Educational Foundation. These presentations can be held in any venue, from your home to a large auditorium. The presentation raises awareness of Tibetan culture, the educational needs of Tibetan refugee children and the work that TCEF is doing.
Step4 Spread the word about the Tibetan refugee children however you can. Host a presentation, forward emails, send friends to websites, or just talk to your friends and family about the children and their plight.
Step5 Support the Free Tibet campaign, which is working to end China's occupation of Tibet. The Free Tibet website is full of information on the campaign, and there are many ways to get involved or donate. Any progress in Tibet will help its children, whether they are in Tibet or in exile.
